Nashwan Habib

Nashwan Habib was born in Iraq, and in the years after the conclusion of the first Gulf War, a steady stream of Iraqi refugees attempted to enter the United States. Nash Habib is what his buddies call him. He was one of the fortunate individuals. Nash Habib had escaped the war when he was a child, fleeing Iraq with his family to Greece, a nation renowned for assisting refugees seeking asylum in the United States. Nash Habib arrived in the United States on the day he turned 18: December 17, 1992.
